About Foundation of Hope for Research and Treatment of Mental Illness
The Foundation of Hope is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization established by Thad and Alice Eure in 1984 to fund mental illness research, which develops more effective means of treatment. These funds are raised at the Annual Thad and Alice Eure Walk for Hope held the second Sunday each October. The Walk for Hope is the only annual community event in the country raising money for mental illness research. To date, over $2 million has been given to fund local research projects.
