About Hadlea Davila Scholarship Fund
Our beautiful free spirit, Carlie Jean Berry, 21, of Anahuac, Texas passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Smith Point, Texas. She was born on January 31, 1995 in Baytown, Texas to Justin and Candy Henry Berry. Carlie graduated from Anahuac High School Class of 2012 and worked as a hairdresser. She was an outgoing young woman who loved and lived life to the fullest. Carlie loved nothing more than spending time with her loving family and friends. She would always have matching shirts made for everyone for just about any occasion or special family events going on. Carlie was the oldest of three girls and was a nurturer to all. She enjoyed the simple things in life like taking selfies, river trips, swimming, sitting by the fire and watching Netflix. Carlie enjoyed her frequent outings at Napolito’s in Anahuac, always texting family or friends to join her there for lunch or dinner at least twice a week. Most would describe Carlie as always being on the go, never able to sit idle for very long, she was a gypsy of sorts. She enjoyed shopping; and was a smart shopper to others, but what she liked most about shopping was spending everyone else’s money doing it. Carlie will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Carlie leaves behind to cherish her memory her parents, Justin and Candy Berry of Anahuac, Texas; her daughter Hadlea and her father Marco Davila; her siblings Cassidy, Graci and Chance; her grandparents Charlie and Peggy Henry and Kathy Carter; her aunts and uncles Penny Brown and husband Ronnie, Amy May, Ronda Racca and husband Scott and Sara Johnson and husband Audie; and numerous loving cousins, great aunts and uncles; and a host of extended family members and friends. This fund is set up for Hadlea in honor of her mother, and will go to Anahuac National Bank.
