Larry King
Larry King founded the Larry King Cardiac Foundation in 1988 to provide funding for life saving cardiac procedures for individuals who, due to limited means and no insurance, would be otherwise unable to receive life saving treatment.
“The uninsured fall into a big, black hole in our nation's health care system,” shares Larry. “Heart disease doesn't discriminate -- rich and poor are vulnerable.”
Proceeds of Mr. King’s books, speaking engagements, and from entertainment galas conducted in New York City , Washington D.C. and Los Angeles work to fund the goals of this non-profit to “Save a Heart a Day.”
