Drew Brees
"People ask the question, is there a place in New Orleans for me to come home to? The answer is...yes."
Drew and Brittany Brees care enough to make this promise to a community of children who have waited too long and who are, unquestionably, worth saving. That is why they have teamed up with Operation Kids - through their Brees Dream Foundation - to rebuild New Orleans in the ways that matter most to kids. They've done their homework: there is a way to help the kids of New Orleans and feel confident that your donation will be used wisely. See how you can join the team and make a difference in the lives of children.
Operation Kids and the Brees Dream Foundation have set a goal to raise $2.5 million for the children of New Orleans. Drew and Brittany Brees launched their effort with a June 16, 2007 kickoff at the Lusher Charter School in the city's Uptown section. Click here to see the success that we have achieved.
Brittany Brees said it best when she created the "Expect More" pledge, and more than 150 kids co-signed the pledge with Drew. They vowed to hold themselves and their parents, teachers and community leaders more accountable for creating better quality of life in New Orleans.
