Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation

Roy Williams

Inspired by his sister Alecia, a single mother doing her best to raise her young son, Dallas Cowboys All-Pro Safety Roy Williams launched the The Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation in July 2004 to help ensure low-income single mothers in the Dallas area receive support, guidance, and assistance to enhance their quality of life.

"My sister, Alecia, is a single mother raising my nephew — they have been my inspiration in starting the foundation to help this group of challenged women," said Roy. "I've seen first-hand the many challenges she and other women like her with children face on a daily basis. I want to do what I can to provide a safety net to help catch those families who are struggling."

In just a few short years since its inception, the Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation has quickly established itself as one of the benchmark non-profit organizations in the Dallas area, and has touched the lives of over 300 single mothers and their families.

The Roy Williams Safety Net Foundation has committed itself to making a difference in the lives of single mothers.
