Jessica Biel, is active in supporting a host of organizations like the Los Angeles based Much Love Animal Rescue which is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals.
Jessica recently sat down with GoodSearch to talk:
GS: Why do you support Much Love Animal Rescue?
JB: It’s such a great organization. It goes to different shelters around Los Angeles and rescues animals. I’m a huge animal lover, I always have been. And I actually have two dogs that I’ve rescued from Much Love. I think it’s important to support this organization which rescues animals who otherwise would most likely be killed.
GS: Do you think the Internet is going to be the future of charitable giving
JB: The future of giving and of nonprofits is to have a social community where your organization can talk to my organization and join forces or somebody gets to know about a charity because you’re meeting someone on a blog on a nonprofit social network. It’s definitely the future and everybody should get on it.
GS: Who do you think your character in “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry: would GoodSearch for?
JB: She would GoodSearch for some charity that has to do with gay rights, equality, acceptance, maybe AIDS, something like that.
