Our YWCA , established in 1912, provides the following services:
Domestic Violence Prevention Center shelter provides housing, food, couseling, court advocacy and 24-hr hotline. Children's Supervised Visitation Center and Batterer Intervention Program services are also offered.
Transitional Housing provides safe rental housing for women who fit the governement classification of homeless.
Permanent Housing is the YWCA flagship program offering safe and affordable rooms to rent for low-income single women.
Mentoring for Teeage Girls program pairs at-risk high school girls with achieving women to work together to reach educational goals of graduating from high school with clear plans for the future.
Racial Justice - we are committed to recognizing racial justice issues and serving as a community resource.
Church Street Bridal sells donated new formal and bridal gowns to raise funds for our programs.
