Description
Created in 1997 to empower and support women in pursuit of their educational and career goals, the YWA Foundation awards $2,500 scholarships annually to women enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs and has recently expanded to provide grants to organizations dedicated to empowering, educating, and enriching the lives of young women and children in our community. Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their financial need, commitment to community service, academic achievement, and leadership potential. Grants are given based on an organization’s core values, mission, and dedication to improving the lives of the women and children it reaches.
