Description

The YTEC Leadership Aftercare Program originated as a response to the youth graduating from the Youth Treatment Education Court who requested services to address thier transitional needs. Established in 2002, Leadership Aftercare helps youth graduating from probation, aging out of foster care and other dependency systems. Youth involved in the Leadership Aftercare Program are trained in leadership skills, social justice and community service, job readiness, are involved in some form of higher education as well as recovery programs and therapy.
Currently, we serve 6 youth and will be tripling our population by the end of the year to provide service to 20 youth in the San Franciso bay area. In order to accomodate this number of youth we will need a larger space and office equipment.
