Description
Founded by the Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation in 1991, YEK provides high school youth with business and entrepreneurial education and experiences that will help them prosper and become contributing members of society. We work primarily with at-risk youth focusing on three important goals:
1. Provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to start their own businesses
2. To teach students how to apply those entrepreneurial skills to become better employees, and
3. To encourage students to continue onto higher education
