Description
We provide logistical and collaborative support to organizations and programs that encourage multicultural and low-income youths, families, and communities to reach their full potential.
Currently, we fund the entire English as a Second Language program at Mt. Logan Middle School and a series of college-prep and service -learning classes in 60+ Utah high schools (the Latinos in Action program).
Utah State University and State Farm have just approached us to organize a K-16 program called the Diversity Initiative. The Diversity Initiative would help students to stay in school and do well in school from grades K through college. It would also offer a workshop series to parents and other adults in the community explaining the scholarship and college enrollment process and topics such as: computer literacy, English literacy, health, job training, and financial literacy. Finally, it would provide professional development opportunities to educators and volunteer opportunities to other community members and groups.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us, and thank you for your support!
