Description

The Youngstown Urban Minority Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Outreach Program Inc., (YUMADAOP) is a 501 (3) non profit that has been in existence for 23 years. The services that we provide are evidence based violence, alcohol, tobacco, and other drug, and pregnancy prevention programming to youth, mentoring, summer day camp programming, re-entry services for currently and previously incarcerated adults, and community service activities. Our goals are to (1) decrease the number of youth who engage in underage use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs, and the selling and trafficking of drugs, (2) reduce incidences of interpersonal violence committed by youth (3) prevent youth from becoming teen parents, and (4) reduce the recidivism rates of ex-offenders.

YUMADAOP is a licensed prevention organization in accordance with section 3793.06 and 3793 of the Ohio Administrative Code.
