Description
The Young Americans (“YAs”) is a non-profit organization. Its 200 members (18-24 yrs of age) are from the USA and around the world.
The YAs conduct Music Outreach Workshops with young people in every type of school and setting imaginable. The Workshops provide a top standard music education program, focused study, and building personal success, providing tools to achieving full potential in life. What makes the Workshops unique is a balance between the arts, education and personal growth, along with members who unconditionally share their talents, optimism, and innate abilities with the participants. Each of The YAs completes a series of related college-level courses for one year, to prepare for the educational tours.
Last year, the company staged over 200 performances/workshops in 120 cities, across 11 countries and 3 continents. The 2009 World Tour will include USA, Germany, Gibraltar, Spain, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and Japan.
