Description
The York County Community College Foundation was organized and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service in 1995 as a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization.
The Foundation was formed because private gifts help make a college exceptional, while traditional resources (state assistance and tuition/fees) typically support the basics. The YCCC Foundation is the preferred channel for private gifts to the College, through annual giving programs, planned gifts, and major or special gift campaigns. Gifts to the Foundation qualify for the maximum tax deduction allowed under the law.
The purpose of the York County Community College Foundation is to promote, encourage, and support, financial and otherwise, all educational activities at York County Community College. Its mission is: To financially support the College's strategic objectives that enhance the economic vitality of the region through educational opportunities.
