Our Purpose We offer values-based programs that have local and global impact, enhance understanding of the world, and enable people to work together towards peace and justice. Our ability to have local impact, offer national services and access a worldwide network allows us to touch thousands of live each year.
Who We Are
The International YMCA is a Branch of the YMCA of Greater New York. Since 1911, we have been working with young people to build global citizens who are caring, responsible and committed to service. We work locally, nationally, and internationally, bring people together in local YMCAs, summer camps, school, business, and in the homes of local families.
Services We Provide
The International YMCA collaborates with the US government and other organizations to support exchanges. For example, we provide airport services for government visitors, and advise local YMCAs who want to start exchange programs.
