Founded in 1851, the YMCA of Greater Boston's mission is to improve the health of mind, body and spirit of individuals and families in our communities. Our 16 branches welcome men and women, boys and girls of all incomes, faiths and cultures. The YMCA of Greater Boston is a multi-service organization serving 100,000 children and adults each year in a variety of programming such as health and wellness, childcare, youth development and youth employment, summer camping, housing, job training and adult education.
