Description

The Pav YMCA is a full-facility, independent YMCA serving the western Cook County Illinois suburban communities of Cicero, Berwyn, Lyons, Stickney, Forest View, Riverside and North Riverside. Our mission is "To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all." In fulfilling our mission we never turn anyone away based on an inability to pay. It is no surprise we award over $100,000 in fee assistance each year to individuals and families through our Strong Kids Scholarship Prigram. We offer a wide array of over 200 programs throughout the year serving individuals from six weeks to nearly 100 years of age. We offer before- and after-school care at our facility as well as at several area schools. Our SilverSneakers Program is currently the largest in the state of Illinois. Our promise is to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
