Description
Wynona's House promotes justic and healing for child victims of abuse and violence by coordinating investigative, prosecution, treatment, and prevention services for children and families in Essex County, New Jersey. The organization is named after its founder and champion, Wynona M. Lipman, NJ's first African-American female senator and the longest serving member of the senate when she died in 1999 -- having served 28 years fighting for the rights of women, children, and families within her community.
