Description

Williamsport Community Radio, WXPI-FM, is a listener-supported, volunteer-powered, nonprofit radio station dedicated to providing a forum for diverse viewpoints and local music in the Williamsport area. WXPI is dedicated to peace, justice, democracy, human rights, respect for cultural diversity and the environment, freedom of expression, journalistic integrity and social change.

Williamsport Community Radio aims to broadcast locally produced news, music and public affairs programming while offering perspectives on local, national and international issues. We will provide community members with training, infrastructure and access to public airwaves to develop and broadcast grassroots programming.

WXPI is a project of The Williamsport Guardian, a 501(c)(3) organization that aims to educate the public about local cultural, social and political events and trends, within the context of news in the world at large.
