Description

The West Virginia Cemetery Preservation Association (WVCPA) works to document, gather information, increase public awareness, raise funds, organize projects, and network with other organizations and tradesmen to preserve, protect, and maintain our historical cemeteries and churches in West Virginia.
WVCPA documents these historic landmarks and make them available to all on the internet free of charge, thus making a contribution to the families by giving them instant access and helping to increase public awareness of the plight of these sites, those that are well cared for as well as those that are abandoned, neglected, or vandalized. We also disseminate information to educate and increase public awareness among all of the citizens of West Virginia.
WVCPA networks with other organizations and tradesmen to help clean up, maintain, and restore the grounds, monuments, artwork, and history of these precious historical sites.
