Description
Founded in 1977, Wu Yee Children’s Services is a nonprofit family and children’s services agency. Its mission is to create opportunities for children to be healthy, for families to thrive and for communities to be strong. Low-income, limited-English-speaking recent immigrants comprise the majority of Wu Yee’s clients. Clients, who are frequently both new immigrants and new parents, are reliant on Wu Yee’s child care programs and services for their families’ well-being. The name “Wu Yee” is a Cantonese phrase that means “protecting and caring for children.”
