Description
The WISE mission provides science and environmental education to all age groups, resources for learning, and supports scientific research.
Our youth and adult programs provide a sense of place by cultivating observation skills, understanding, and sensitivity to our biotic and climatic environment, nurtures connections with place both personally and emotionally, and builds understanding for how place is influenced by humans; develops an understanding of how things are interconnected, how ecosystems function, and the cause and effect of human actions on natural systems; instills stewardship by Identifying ways people can make a difference and take a personal responsibility to sustain our natural and human communities.
