BY EMPOWERING… The Church
The church is the only God-ordained, self-sustaining, reproducible model God has given. They are the front line of care & outreach. World Orphans’ goal is to see churches engaged, strengthened, empowered, and emboldened.
Those who are engaged in orphan care are doing so in response to great & immediate need. They are responding to tragedy & desperation in their communities, often with very limited resources. We want to help & encourage them.
THROUGH…Cost Effective Means
Our church-based homes & programs are built & run by the indigenous church, for the indigenous church, & on or near the property of the indigenous church. The buildings & ministry are owned & run by these churches. We believe that all ministries, including orphan care, should be owned and channeled through them.
