Description
WHSO is a student run organization, that provides medical care to communities in Detroit, Haiti, Peru, Panama, Ecuador and Nicaragua that would not receive care otherwise. These trips bring medicine, vaccines, physicians and clean water to places that have no regular acces to any of the necessites we often take for granted. WHSO is also partnering with local physicians and medical students to assist in developing medical infrastructure in the countries we travel to. To allow for a more unified outlook, students are required to participate in volunteer actives here in Detroit prior to going on any mission.
