Description
World Connect is a non-profit organization that implements health, education, environmental and economic development projects in 13 developing countries. Our programs not only improve the lives of women and children in the countries where we work, but impact the lives of young Americans in the U.S. In seven years of operations, World Connect has implemented more than 600 projects, many of which students in the U.S. have sponsored and supported by leading fundraisers in their schools and communities. Our goal in connecting our international development work with American youth is to enhance global learning and cross-cultural communication and to inspire young Americans to become active and engaged global citizens, making the world a better place through improved understanding and action.
