Description
The World Camp Foundation mission is to provide underprivileged children, ages 8 to 16, from around the world, the opportunity to participate in a United States summer camp program. World Camp Foundation recipients will indirectly help to break down the barriers that international borders and politics create. The development of new national and international friendships through camp activities, improves the quality of life for all involved.
Our belief is that the development of children can be enhanced through participation in summer camp. Treating children from around the world, equally, in a summer camp environment develops friendship, character, empathy and unity throughout the world.
The World Camp Foundation mission will be accomplished by receiving charitable donations from corporations and individuals. Attention will be given to minimize administrative and other overhead costs, thereby, providing the maximum available finances for the greatest number of campers.
