The Work Activity Center Inc. is a nonprofit organization for special needs adults. We work to promote independence through paid work experiences for adults with developmental disabilities
The Work Activity Center was started in 1976 and is a part of a growing network of agencies, businesses and individuals. We help people with disabilities become more active and independent members of the community. Our highly-skilled staff includes three supervisors, a director, and a Board of Directors. As well as providing gainful employment to disabled adults, we provide a safe work environment to our employees. They also have the opportunity to participate in Special Olympics, Bowling, Community Field Trips, Dances, Movies, and other social activities.
The Work Activity Center serves disabled adults within the Central Oklahoma area.
