Description

This is a run/walk event held every year. It is currently in it's 8th year and each year the committee picks 3 different charities to donate all the proceeds of the race to.

This event was established by 2 Worcester Firefighters in the wake of the 1999 Worcester Cold Storage Fire which claimed the lives of six Worcester Firefighters. The Worcester Firefighters were so amazed by the outpouring of support they received from the community, this was their way of giving back. At the road race each year, there is a FREE BBQ in the park for all who want to just come to the park, or if they want to pay the entry fee to walk or run.
