Who We Are:
Woody’s Place is a small non profit incorporated organization (501 c 3 pending) that is dedicated to re-homing and or permanently housing abandoned *senior German Shepherd Dogs.
* Senior German Shepherd being eight years of age and up.
We are also dedicated to raising awareness and educating people on the disease of Degenerative Myelopathy in the German Shepherd dog.


What We Do:
We provide temporary and long term housing and care for abandoned senior German Shepherds. (senior being 8 yrs. old and up)
We re-home senior German Shepherds to approved adopters through a thorough screening process.
We provide information and resources on the disease of Degenerative Myelopathy.
We improve the quality of life for the abandoned senior German Shepherd whenever possible.
