Description
The Women’s Treatment Center, a national model in substance abuse treatment, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide women with a continuum of care, recovery tools, and parenting skills to maintain a sober lifestyle as they rebuild their lives and mend the bonds with their families. TWTC has 80 treatment beds for women who can also bring their kids into residential treatment. Our treatment includes medical, social and mental health service through Outpatient Programming, Detoxification, Parenting Program and Recovery Homes for women with children. What makes us unique is our plan of care for children that offers an Infant-Toddler Daycare, a Pre-Kindergarten Program staffed by the Chicago Board of Education; and a 24-hour Crisis Nursery to care for children whose mothers are in crisis. Our services are offered without regard to race, creed, color, sexual orientation, disability, national origin or ability to pay.
