Through compelling theatre, The Women’s Theatre Project creates and environment that explores the female voice. Spanning the generations, we are forging community partnerships to develop a legacy – By Women, About Women and For Everyone.
The Women’s Theatre Project is the only professional theatre company in the country consistently producing theatrical works that are written exclusively by women with all-female characters. We provide a truly unique cultural experience for South Florida audiences. Our productions are compelling because our choices break with stereotypical portrayals of women seen in the media, on television and in movies. The theatre professionals involved in our productions span generations and reflect the broad scope of races and cultures present throughout South Florida.
