Description
Women's Rights Information Center is a grass roots,community Based, non-profit organization helping women and their families to achieve economic self-sufficiency by providing computer, office, and life skills training, classes & workshops and assistance with job search and placement. We administer shared housing program for single parent families, a transitional housing program that prevents homelessness. The Center provide legal consultations on family law issues, maintains bilingual staff to provide counseling, training and ESL for immigrants. And just as important to the success of our program is being able to provide a warm, nurturing environment where women can gain, not only knowledge, but the self esteem that they need to succeed.
