Description
The mission of the Women’s Lighthouse Project (WLP) is to respect, support, and empower women in managing their HIV disease. Founded in the fall of 1997 by Shannon Behning Conn, an HIV-infected woman, WLP’s goal is to provide a direct response to the disparity in health care and social services seen among women living with HIV/AIDS.
