Description
a/k/a Women's History Reclamation Project, is a 501(c)3 with a mission to educate and inspire present and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by preserving, sharing and interpreting the evidence of that experience. The WHMEC serves primarily Southern California--but soon through the internet, the nation--with historical archives, a library, a museum, traveling exhibits, engaging community speakers, oral histories, and the elegant and moving annual induction ceremony for the San Diego County Women's Hall of Fame.
