Description
Women for a Multicultural Tomorrow (WMT) is a new club on the Sacramento State campus promoting diversity, acceptance, appreciation, sisterhood and leadership.
Our goal is to create a community of women who not only have a community of other women to build lasting relationships with, but to be academically successful and to build skills and relationships to be successful in everything we do in our lives. Not only do we want to embrace our diversity among the ladies in our group, but also spread awareness and help the students on campus to begin to appreciate the diversity on our campus.
Most people do not know that at the start of this project we barely knew each other, we just had a common goal--to bring a change and appreciation for multiculturalism among women on campus. Now after these three months of hard work we are closer to our goals and closer to each other and we are excited to meet our potential future sisters.
