Description
Wolverine Human Services is a social service agency providing safety, sustenance, nurturing, and therapeutic intervention to Michigan's children. Wolverine's programs focus on adolescents suffering from the social injustices of abuse, neglect, poverty and discrimination often resulting in anti-social behavior. Our mission is to offer the most appropriate setting and most effective services to children, their families, and their communities. Our purpose is to take part in a mutual effort, assisting those in need to overcome social and economic barriers, to capitalize on their personal strengths, and to contribute to their own healing. Our services include residential programs for males and females and community based programs including foster-care, adoption, and assisted living, as well as soup kitchen and local community centers.
