Description
With These Hands Mix Academy is a non-profit organization that was formed in 2005 to teach students ages 12-18 a skill or trade in the world of music; Disc Jockeying. Our award-winning program teaches students 21st Century skills and offers a wide range of techniques that qualifies us to be in the categories of engineering and technology under the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields. With These Hands provides underserved youth with conflict resolution education, cultural awareness, academic accountability and service projects through regular program meetings and corporate as well as community partnerships. We also foster exposure to the entertainment business by providing our students with educational, experiential and entrepreneurial opportunities in the industry.
