This charity was created to help ease some of the many unforeseen burdens associated with raising a special needs child.
Here at the wishingmewellfoundation located and serving the "Greater Hampton Roads" area, we are committed to helping as many families as possible by offering many services to help make the lives of parents & caretakers of special needs children a little more comforting..Here are a few samples of what we will be doing at W.M.W.F...Up to 6 days Camp Vacations at Joni & friends campgrounds located at Flat Rock,N.C. Medical equipment not covererd by insurance or medicaid,Wish Grantings,Airfare to visit relatives,Home services such as maids, lawn care, basic maintainence work,Room makeovers, Also Gift certificates to Movies,Theathers,Special events,etc. Gift certificates to Wal-Mart,Target,and other major stores,and many,many more ideas to come.
