State association dedicated to improving, promoting and obtaining education, training, benefits, equipment, manpower, and facilities for animal care and control.
Provides expertise and guidance of ordinances and animal care and control problems to officials at state, county, and city levels of government, while promoting justice and equality in the enforcement of animal care and control laws.
Provides liaison with other organizations and groups having related interests.
Develops standards and certification procedures for animal care and control personnel as to upgrade the profession.
