Description

Winnebago/Rockford Clean & Beautiful is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1988 and is the only affiliate of Keep America Beautiful in North Central Illinois. Our mission is to improve our environment through education, public awareness and community involvement. We educate thousands of local school children with regard to environmental issues, recycling, reuse and proper management of landfills in classroom presentations given by retired teachers. We also operate the only all-volunteer run recycling center in Winnebago County serving people who do not have curbside pickup of recycleables in their community.
