Description
WINGS has provided housing and supportive services for women and their children who are homeless or fleeing the devastating effects of domestic violence, the major cause of homelessness among women and children. It is the goal of the program staff to assure that those needs are met and that she is provided with services, education, and job training needed for her to improve her quality of life, assure her safety, regain her dignity, and rebuild her feelings of self-worth. In addition to these services, WINGS offers a 24 hour emergency safehouse, 4 group homes and over 20 apartments to help these families stay safe and become self-sufficient.
