Wings of the Dawn International Institute for Children (WOD) focuses on directly assisting schools and libraries in Africa, primarily by making books and education enrichment materials available to the young people of these countries in the language used in their classrooms. A 501(c)(3) charitable organization headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, WOD collects, transports educational materials and supplies to school children, libraries and community centers in rural and sub-urban African countries. Our focus to continue to stimulate and encourage lifelong reading and learning habits among the African Children. WOD is an all volunteered agency with no employee payroll. More than 92% of receipts are expended directly for projects.
