Wings of Mercy is a non profit org. that flies low/limited persons by using volunteer aircraft to medical destinations anywhere East of the rockies. It was founded in 1991 by Peter VandenBosch after hearing God tell him, while retired, and out on a fishing boat" there's more to life than this Peter." He immediately left Florida , in winter and flew back to MI and Wings of Mecry was born. Their are two chapters East WOM and MN WOM. West MI is the flagship and the Founder of Wings is located in that chapter. We have helped over 3000 persons, young and old, who would not have had the chance for life saving medical treatment. Our website is www.wingsofmercy.org and we hope you will visit us. West MI flies persons from MI, IL, IN, WI and OH. We have vision to fly many more places as the years pass.
