Description
An environmental education program that teaches about nonpoint source pollution and urban runoff by bringing a replica storm drain, LIVING marine animals, including sea stasrs, sea urchins, tube worms, marine snails, etc. and the General Store of the Sea to elementary and middle schools throughout southern California. Last year the Windows-On-Our-Waters TidePool Cruiser traveled 7,000 miles to 92 school sites in 28 cities teaching nearly 14,000 students (one classroom at a time). Windows-On-Our-Waters was wstablished in 2001 as a non profit public benefit corporation as defined in Section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS Code.
