Description

Windhorse Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit which is a permanent home for special-needs, abused & displaced horses, dogs and cats. Windhorse is a sanctuary which provides a life-long, loving home for the special animals that come here. Many come from rescue organizations and are considered unadoptable due to their medical, behavioral and aging issues. Some are simply too old or infirm to work any longer and will live out their last days at the sanctuary in peace and contentment. Every animal at Windhorse Sanctuary receives ongoing care, socialization, training and lots of affection. The goal is to provide a safe, stable and natural environment for all the animals. All receive nutritious food and top quality medical care.
Windhorse is over 90% self-funded but needs your help to continue to do its good work.
