Description
The Winchendon Historical Society is dedicated to the prservationn, conservation of its collection and interpretation of its archival documents, photographs and other artifacts relevant to the history of Winchendon.
We give guided tours to the public and to the students in our public school system. We do presentations and exhibits and give 3rd grade local hisitory tours around town.
We are a member of the American Association for State and Local History.
We are looking for ways to help maintain our hisotrical society's home. Oil prices in the winters are really hurting us. We would like to stay open and this will help us with our bills to continue to be open for the public.
