Description

Willow Creek Ranch Therapeutic Riding Program - "Where Life Reins" ... miracles happen. WCR is a therapeutic riding program for children and adults with disabilities. We are a member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. We are dedicated to providing a therapeutic riding program to children and adults with a variety of disabilities and conditions. Therapeutic riding improves balance, joint mobility, coordination, muscle tone and posture, plus it's great for helping participants improve motor skills, self-esteem, concentration and problem-solving abilities.
Volunteers are responsible for grooming and saddling horses prior to lessons, and also function as leaders and/or sidewalkers during the sessions. Other opportunities: board members, fundraising, recruiting, website management, photography, and event planning.
We thank you for your interest and support and invite you to visit WCR and observe our riding sessions, meet our staff, and program horses.
