Description
The Survivors in Fashion Fund was set up by a group of 25 cancer survivors that have a fashion show every 2 years to show women that there can be life and glamour after breast cancer. We wear formal and casual clothing and strut around the stage. We tell our stories of breast cancer surgery/treatment, etc. The fund has been set up with the W. W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT to keep our funds available to women in our local area to help support women who cannot afford mammograms, prostheses, transportation to treatment etc.
