Description

Preserving, cataloging and sharing many artifacts and stories of the rich history of Will County, Illinois for 45 years. Located in Lockport, Illinois, the Will County Historical Society owns and operates a museum housed in the former headquarters of the Illinois and Michigan Canal building. We feature many exhibits throughout the year focused on the historical stories and culture of Will County, Illinois. We also feature a newly developed park called 'Lincoln Landing,' honoring President Abraham Lincoln and sharing his ties to Will County, Il.
