Wildlife Works

about

Wildlife Works is a volunteer-based non-profit organization founded in 1991. Our mission is the rehabilitation and release of distressed wildlife and the promotion of responsible attitudes about the preservation of native species, habitat, and the environment. WWI currently operates a home-based re-habilitation center in Youngwood, PA located in Westmoreland County. We are licensed by the PA Game Commission and the US Fish and Wildlife Service. Since we opened our doors in 1991, we have accepted over 7,000 wildlings and successfully rehabilitated more than half of those admitted.
